1. What We Collect
When you sign up for a free trial or paid plan, we collect your name and email address. Phone number is optional but recommended for faster support. Payment information is processed entirely by Stripe — we never see, store, or transmit your card numbers or banking details. We also log your IP address, device type, and approximate geographic location (country-level) to route your stream from the nearest server and prevent abuse.
2. How We Use Your Data
Your information powers four things: delivering the streaming service to your device, processing payments and refunds through Stripe, responding to your support tickets, and sending essential service emails (login credentials, renewal reminders, outage notices). We do not use your data for targeted advertising or sell it to third parties.
3. Data Sharing
We share data only with operational partners who make the service work: Stripe (payments), our hosting infrastructure provider (stream delivery), and our email delivery service. We will comply with legitimate law enforcement requests when legally required. We never sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
4. Data Retention
We keep your account data while your subscription is active. After cancellation, we retain records for 90 days to process any refund requests or disputes, then permanently delete your personal data. Anonymous usage statistics (aggregate channel popularity, peak concurrency) are retained indefinitely for capacity planning.
5. Your Rights
You can request a copy of your data, correct inaccurate information, or request full deletion at any time. Email help@catchontv1.email with your request. We respond within 30 days. If you are an EU resident, you have additional rights under GDPR including the right to data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.
6. Cookies and Tracking
We use essential cookies for session management and authentication. Analytics cookies help us understand aggregate traffic patterns so we can improve the service. We do not use third-party advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or social media trackers.
7. Security
All traffic is encrypted with HTTPS/TLS. Payment data flows through Stripe's PCI-DSS compliant infrastructure. Access to customer data is restricted to authorized support staff and logged. We conduct regular security reviews of our infrastructure.
8. Children's Privacy
Our service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as our service evolves. We will notify active subscribers by email of any material changes at least 14 days before they take effect.
